”Out of the way location, so it was quite quiet. The pool was closed for some unknown reason. I stayed on the first floor and I could hear people walking on the floors above me, so if you consider yourself a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you unless you’re on an upper floor.”

”This property is dated but was very comfortable for our 4 day stay. Everything in our room was in good working order. The breakfast was good too. The on site restaurant closed too early which was disappointing . The staff was helpful and kind good people work there!!”

”I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

”The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

”The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue was with the bathroom- no safety rails in the shower,very awkward positioning of the toilet paper holder over one's left shoulder, and one must step up into both the bathroom and the very small shower without any handles to hold on to. This is a very old inn and the wood floors are uneven . In my opinion, room #1 is not suitable for senior citizens.”

”While the owners are lovely people and their restaurant wonderful, our accommodations were not really clean. The ceiling plaster was falling. Some of the areas were not dusted for a while, our bathroom mirror still had splash marks from the previous guest, and the carpets were not vacuumed. This place really has great potential with upgrades and cleaning. These are constructive criticisms to help.”
