”Loved the room and the bar and restaurant off the lobby. Did not like the fact that there was no coffee in the lobby.”

”The Property was beautiful! When we walked in, the first utterance out of our mouths was "Wow!" Street parking was easy. The room "The Chalet" that we stayed in was spacious with many amenities and was spotless. The bed was very comfortable as well! And being on the third story, we got our stair steps in for our trip! Haha.”

”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

”Wonderful stay! Great location! Staff and amenities were fantastic! I forgot my iPad in my room when I checked out and luckily remembered it before I left. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Completely worth the money!”

”Tv only had cable. No Netflix. Lids for coffee cups in room would be helpful. If I use the paper cup, I’m probably taking it somewhere. Room temp control was not user friendly and it was super warm even set at 69.”

”Right across the street from Wrigley this place is the place to stay if watching cubs game and visiting Wrigley. Gallagher way. Brand new. Fabulous staff that accommodated my early arrival bag storage & changing in rest room pre game. Only issue is parking. Not clear signage but it’s off Clark street look for big on building. Once you leave u pre pay but pull all the way up to exit doors or they won’t open spent 15 minutes figuring out how to trigger the exit Fabulous pregame or other...

”Management is terrible. The lady that was there when I checked in (said she was the manager) was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Location feels unsafe. Furniture was outdated and unstable. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.”

”The only weird thing about my stay was the bathrooms pocket door -I wasn’t able to shut it completely or lock it”

”Location worked very well for our needs. Location was a bit sketchy but we came across zero issues with the neighborhood. Room wasn’t perfect and could have been a little more clean as there was a dirty rag on the floor and the bed sheets/pillows had some questionable stains. Best New Subs across the street was delicious and worth stopping by. Keep in mind all amenities, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge areas are all shared spaces. Doors to the rooms could have been more secured with deadbolts.”

”On the last day of our stay we did not receive housekeeping service so our room was not cleaned, which resulted in no fresh linen. When asked for fresh linen there was none only the floor mat and was told we could not receive any fresh linen until 9am the next day. This was frustrating because we had an early morning flight. We were given floor mats to use to bathe, which is so inappropriate. Other than that we had a fairly okay experience.”

”I struggle with even writing this because the staff was so friendly. But please be aware that the pictures provided are very outdated. The hotel themselves look to have aged 20 years since the pictures were taken. The bedding was not very comfortable and at times smelled like cigarette smoke. Outside of these issues the area was quiet and always had parking available.”

”This was my second stay at the Sono. I love everything about it. It is a great location with restaurants within walking distance. Free to park close to hotel. Comfortable beds. Very clean!! Management is both helpful and friendly! Breakfast had healthy options. I plan to stay again next time I’m in town.”

”Where do I start? The dirty floor? The dirty shower with low to no pressure? The stained comforter? The cigarette burn holes in the sheets? The toilet paper jammed into door eyelet? The mold on the ceiling and shotty wall patchwork? The overall, humidity in the room? OR should I mention the lack of security when I asked to get a new room key and was never ID’d or verified? Didn’t feel very secure after that. The breakfast was lack luster at best. I can’t imagine the staff being proud of this...
