”Didn’t start very well with a late check in. - room not ready. It then got worse! The room - bathroom - more hair on the floor in the shower than on my head! The flat screen TV - as big as my iPad and tucked around the corner. The beds - sprinkled with crumbs - cleaner eating lunch? Duvet was thick and heavy and no fan. Then to cap off - the guests that are incapable of considering other guests - noise, door slamming and the smell of weed! We have photos - we will not be showing them!”

”Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. ”Good all-round option, from easy parking and a welcoming atmosphere to good food and drink options. Lovely outdoor seating area, and close to a pretty river and park.”

”The hotel’s public rooms maintain a faded charm of times long gone, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, well equipped and functional. The setting overlooking the coast could not be bettered - and enjoying it whilst tucking into an excellent buffet breakfast was great. We will definitely return.”

”Really convenient place to stop on way to Dorset to rest and refresh before continuing journey. Room was spacious and had attractive bathroom. Receptionist was polite and helpful. ”Excellent place to stay. We went to Peppa Pig World for multiple days, and really enjoyed the beatiful and comfortable place to stay. Food was also great. Staff was super friendly. Was our 2nd stay and will come back! ”

”We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink.”

”Yhden päivän ja yön matkalla Stonehengen kiville hotelli toimi hienosti. Parkkipaikka aivan hotellin edessä, joskin ohikulkeva tie piti jonkinlaista meteliä yöaikaan. Ystävällinen, nuori henkilökunta mutta vähän saisi harjoitella tilausten muistamista. Aamiainen lisämaksusta ja hinta 12£ ei ollut mielestämme kohtuullinen. Ympäristössä ei ole lähistöllä oikein mitään, bensa-asema ja pieni shop. Mutta olimmekin pikamatkalla ja siihen tarkoitukseen sopi oikein hyvin.”
