”We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The views of the lake were gorgeous and it was great to be able to watch the birds, beaver and loon family from inside the cottage through the large windows, on the deck around the cottage and the dock by the lake. We enjoyed the dark night sky and seeing all the stars and milky way over the lake. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean, comfortable and had beautiful art work. ”The owner made checking in very easy and was very flexible about what time we arrived. The bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed; the bedroom was quaint and cosy. The house is only a block from Haliburton’s Main Street, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores as well as the library, the post office, and the public park on the lake. This is a great starting point for exploring the many beautiful aspects of the Haliburton Highlands.”
