”This property was old which wasn't a problem it was quaint but the fern room was comically small, felt like the top half of a barn, like the whole building was probably a barn. The room had ladybugs & flys, the ladybugs didn't bother me but the flys were making horrible buzzing sounds & we couldn't sleep so we had to kill the flys but left the ladybugs alone. Other flys never came back so that was good, perhaps someone left a door open. You could easily hear the rooms nearby like a simple radio...

”Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”

”I was lucky to stay in the recently renovated part of hotel. the room was modern, clean and cleverly designed. I was far from the common areas but that was not a problem bc there was a enclosed bridge so I did not have to go outdoors. I enjoyed the hot tub. The continental breakfast was simple and good: pastries, yogurt and breads. Stowe Bowl had a fun vibe and the wings were very good. The staff was EXCELLENT - helpful and friendly. ”

”The front desk staff and restaurant staff were amazing! The chef even came out to ask us how everything was and interacted with my kiddo. The room was extremely clean and put together. I would absolutely recommend! ”

”It is a unique place with a lot of history behind it. It has a European feel, great food, things to do, and a caring staff and management since it remains family owned and operated business. Everywhere fresh flowers, mostly from the resort's own greenhouse, wonderful atmosphere, great views, and an upscale spa, sauna, and outdoor and indoor pools.”

”Friendly staff, decent off street parking, clean room and bathroom. Way too hot with no way to turn down the heat, had to open the windows all night in the middle of winter. Breakfast doesn’t start earlier than 0730.”

”Cool vibe. Liked the adults only aspect. Only downside was that the outdoor hot tub was broken. They did allow us access to the indoor hot tub at their adjacent property as an alternative.”
