”Peaceful and whimsical stay in a historic inn. The breakfast was delicious (served with the best local maple syrup) and location was a 5 minute drive to the downtown area.”

”Bathroom faucet not working. Ice maker not working. A/c unit knobs not legible. Didn’t know if I had heat or a/c. The bed base was squeaking every time you moved! I’ve stayed in this property 5-6 times before and this was my last. Shaky neighbors in the building in front of this hotel made me and my wife feel unsafe (smoking weed and drinking alcohol in the open). Front desk acknowledged it!!”

”The first room we checked into had a random person staying in it. The hotel staff had no idea who it was. The second room we were upgraded into was not very clean. The room smelled, there were questionable stains on the bedding, and there was dirt on the floor. We could hear the TV from the room next to us all evening. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, or stay here again.”

”Wonderful and yes, cozy, atmosphere at this establishment -- a nicely updated, clean and well-maintained 2-story motel probably originally of mid 20th C architectural vintage. Excellent staff/proprietor who exudes a calm, polite and caring demeanor. Very enjoyable 2-night stay in the late spring of 2026. ”I absolutely love the Maple Terrace Motel. The rooms are spacious and incredible fresh and clean and the grounds are really beautiful sitting just beneath a gorgeous horse farm and large sweeping willow trees. The views are stunning and especially from the pool area and gorgeous fire pit and chair circle which is such a joy to sit in and observe the horses in the field or beautiful Berkshire sky above. ”My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience. This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room. Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.”
