”Was in a great location however it didn’t say that it was an end terrace with a path at the running the length of the house. Also it didn’t mention that there were steep slippery steps to get on to the rear garden which again was just a slab and deck area which wasn’t a garden as such. Living area very small and if at full occupancy wouldn’t be able to fit everyone in. TV & internet not great and had to keep refreshing to get connection. Could do with a bit of TLC. ”We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future!”

”Stayed here for one night. Directions were not great, the address on the website is not the address of the property you will be staying in. We were told to park in Chatsworth place and look for white patio doors. What we actually should have been told is the property is up the back of a small inlet between property numbers 33 and 37. This would of saved time wondering around trying to find the property. We had to park outside someone else’s house half on path half on road, so was a bit worried...

”Excellent, spacious house, immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. Professional and friendly host. Could not be better placed a literal stones roll from the High St, great pub, chippy and the oldest sweetshop in the world... allegedly! 100% recommend.”

”We absolutely love the victorian terraced house. It was beautiful as well as functional with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. Also the hosts left use with a lovely welcome basket with all the essentials plus! Artisanal bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea, snacks and even a bottle of red wine and champagne. It was so lovely and inviting!!”

”The views at this cottage are outstanding, we had the most amazing sunrises and sunsets and loved just relaxing at the property watching the view. The property just needs a little bit of TLC to get 5 stars, front door handle wasn’t working properly, a fair few loose screws etc in chairs and tables which meant they were rickety, which we had to tighten up and some broken outside furniture. Also watch out the track is a farm track and a bit bumpy … fine in any SUV/4x4 but for normal saloons etc...

”We stayed for 5 night while visiting relatives over Christmas. The house was very welcoming - a Christmas tree had been installed and the owner had kindly supplied some food and wine to get us started. The house is near the hos[ital and just a short stroll to the centre with its shops, bars, restaurants etc. At the end of the street and closeby here were take away outlets and a Onestop shop for milk etc.”
