âPhotos on website is not an accurate representation of the condition of the units. We arrived and decided not to stay there. We had to pay for the first night due to late cancellation, but relieved not to stay there. The rooms smell, the carpets are worn and the bed felt terrible. Not a place we will recommend to anyone, just not worth it!â

âWe had our own little cabin (Unit #8). Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, bed. Seating on a nice little deck. Shower looks tired, but hot water showed up quickly and I had a good shower. Our only issue was that there were ants in the kitchen. The owner/manager said he would take care of it when we went out for dinner, and when we came back, no more ant issue.â

âExcellent accommodation and wonderful hosts
We had the pleasure of spending three days and three nights at Arcadia Lodge in Russell and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The lodge is exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and clearly run with great attention to detail. We would especially like to thank the fantastic hosts, Greg and Peter. They were always approachable, provided us with many great tips for activities in and around Russell, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout...

âOur experience with âMoongate villaâ was disappointing because on our 2nd day, some building works began next door which woke us up at 8.00am in the morning and the cement pouring and flattening machines started working. Itâs no exaggeration to say that the whole of our building vibrated to the machines being used. As for the noise all of this created, it was horrendous!
The owners of âMoongate villaâ agreed to give us 1 x night free of charge. Please confirm that you can refund us this back...
