”We were a party of four couples. Three had an ensuite bedroom, whilst the fourth couple had a separate upstairs area with their own private toilet and access to their own shower room at the bottom of their staircase. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions (before and after I booked). The beautiful house and location worked perfectly for a group of mature adults. We had everything we needed for a great weekend break.”

”Good base for getting to all the shops and sites in Brighton. A bit small and cosy but was fine for 5 people. Not enough seating areas for more. Need to be aware you are next to a very busy road so will hear lots of people walking past and traffic noise but fine for a short break.”

”This property provided the perfect place to host a hen party weekend for 18 people. The rooms are all perfectly sized and the communal areas are perfect for hen games and pre-drinks. The house is easy to find and is in with easy walking distance of the pier and other amenities. I would highly recommend for large groups.”

”The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

”We spent four nights in Lower Barn House over New Year. We had a mixed group of family from grandparents to newborns and the house was great for all. We found the communication from the property manager Cheryl and the owners fantastic. The property itself is secluded with great outdoor space (when the weather permits!). The living area and kitchen are also great for larger family gatherings. We will be looking to visit again!”

”We had read the reviews for this place before arriving so we were a little apprehensive, but we needed two double beds so we gave it a go. I'm really glad we did. The room was perfect for us. Super clean. The staff were lovely and really attentive, they even gave us the choice of two rooms to decide what would work better for us and our children. I think it's in a great location and on a quiet road. Both me and my husband loved the shower. I found the bed to be OK but my husband said it was too...

"Todella siisti pieni huone, jossa lapselle jännittävänä plussana katsella ikkunasta laskeutuvia koneita. Ainoa mieleenpainuva miinus oli vessan/suihkun lattia, joka oli luonnollisesti aivan märkä suihkun käytön jälkeen, eikä huoneesta löytynyt lattialastaa tms. jolla sitä olisi saanut kuivattua."
