”The stables was in an ideal location for exploring East Sussex and Kent with lots of nearby attractions. The White Hart inn next door is a family owned village pub with lots of character, good beer and food. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The open kitchen /longe was very well equipped with the added bonus of French windows onto a small patio area with outside seating. Very difficult to find any faults as is highly recommended we would certainly stay here again.”

”We enjoyed our short break in excellent accommodation, which was perfect for our needs. Clearly a lot of thought had gone in to the accommodation and everything had been finished to a high standard. We would certainly stay there again if we are in the area and would recommend to anyone who is visiting East Sussex, an perfect base for many local National Trust places.”

”Our only negative is the location of the property on a major road... difficult to get out with the traffic. Otherwise this house is a gem and the reviews do it justice - spacious, well appointed, everything you need, great for visiting surrounding areas. Shame we came in winter and couldn't also enjoy the fabulous garden too!”

”Typisch britisch, kleines Cottage , gemütlich .Nicht geeignet für ältere , da die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern sehr steil ist .Darauf sollte man achten …Ansonsten sehr schön , in der Nähe kann man gleich einkaufen und in wenigen Kilometern erreicht man rye , welches man unbedingt besuchen sollte .”

”The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. However, it was dirty in areas, like the crockery all had to be washed before use, blinds were dirty and dusty, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and dog hair around. Not...
