”We went to once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii and we chose this place. The views, pools and the wild life are amazing but; here is only one place to get breakfest (sandwich 20$!!), coffeeplaces closes at 11am (coffee 8$ and croissant 15$), places to eat are too expensive (pasta and meatballs 50$). Luckily there is marketplace near by (15min walk or shuttle bus 5$)and the rooms have small fridge. We didnt know the resortfee which was high! It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”What a gem in Kona! My wife and I were evaluating our options between a large hotel or the Kona Tikki and we decided to stay at the Tikki. You get a great ocean front view that’s unbeatable and great value for money compared to larger hotels and what they charge for an “ocean view”.
