”Had an event across the street at Amy Greenwell, and my grandparents would always book here when we’d be on this side of the island. It’s older, but being able to walk right up to the restaurant is worth it, and in the morning it’s so peaceful to just sit out on the porch”

”We enjoyed staying here. As a big cat lover I was pleased of the friendly cats they had. The only negative side was the noise which started between 7-8am on mornings. We stayed in unit number 1 so I think that the staff started their day in the room next to ours. Also a sponge for dishes in the room would be nice to have - now we had to borrow it from the kitchen. ”

”Buyer beware - when you book an ocean view room they will not have it available (very few even available as they are on the upper floor(s) and only on a single side of the hotel - they offered to pay for our parking charges but we wouldn’t have booked this hotel if they were honest in the listing. When I sent them a message I did not get a response... also there was a musty odor in the room which made it hard to sleep - Very unhappy with the experience.”

A place for free spirits, earth-based spirituality, and nonconformists in general who want a real Hawaiin experience far from the canned fun in Kona. The Lomilomi Suite was spectacular. ”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”
