”Excellent place, beautiful beach, delicious food, peaceful atmosphere, the best place to stay in Hilo”

”We went to once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii and we chose this place. The views, pools and the wild life are amazing but; here is only one place to get breakfest (sandwich 20$!!), coffeeplaces closes at 11am (coffee 8$ and croissant 15$), places to eat are too expensive (pasta and meatballs 50$). Luckily there is marketplace near by (15min walk or shuttle bus 5$)and the rooms have small fridge. We didnt know the resortfee which was high! But I have to say that this Hilton area felt very safe and...

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”My husband and I stayed here with friends and had a wonderful stay. We had a partial ocean view and they had an ocean view. Rooms were spacious and service was great. The grounds are pretty and we enjoyed the private beach with snorkeling available at your feet. I wish they would have had umbrellas available on the beach, but once the shade disappeared, we just moved over to the pool area and grabbed umbrella chairs. Perfect sunsets at night.”
