”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”Every poor review I've read on this place is excused away by the owners - so get ready for their response. I am a seasoned traveler. This is probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I am not sure how it gets a 9/10 on Expedia. Booked for 2 nights, but left after the 1st. ”This really is a VILLAGE please note getting around take’s alot of walking the train moves very slow sometimes waiting up to 20mins and then another 15/20 mins to get where you’re going and the train only goes from the lobby towards palace tower and ocean tower so if you’re staying on the other side you have to walk. parking is self park $48 per day with a 5min walk or valet $55 a day I stayed in palace tower it’s nice and new however my pillows had a bad smell and out of the 4nights I stayed...
