To the west of Haverfordwest lies the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, a stunning area of natural beauty that stretches for 186 miles along the Welsh coastline.

To the north of Haverfordwest lies the Preseli Hills, a range of low, rolling hills that are home to ancient standing stones and burial chambers. The hills are also a popular destination for hiking, with numerous trails offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Locally there is a selection of family attractions all within a short drive, including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park.
