Whitesands, named officially one of the best beaches, is highly rated by families and surfers both professional and beginners, it has a hire shop and seasonal beachside cafe for refreshments.In the other direction, just over 15 minutes by car takes you to the harbour and market town of Fishguard with its range of pubs, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants to try, as well as a leisure centre and local cinema.
