”Parking available on the main road outside the hotel. Nice English cooked breakfast included. My room had issues with regulating the heat of the shower so brought it to the manager's attention on departure. Rooms safe and secure with a night entrance around the side of the building if needed.”

”Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. ”Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast either at 7.15 am or 10.15 and nothing was available in between.”

”Spent 5 nights at the Ivy Tree and loved all of them! The staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help you. I had forgot my charger adapter and the hotel staff lended me their personal one for the whole stay. ”Friendly and helpfull staff 24hr front desk. Basic Breakfast available however other places inside service station and a starbucks or greggs just down the road. Lunch and evening meal menu available or again can use the service station outlets. Personaly I just had food in the hotel. Rooms are pretty good and shower is great 👍 ”

”Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. ”
