Downsides were; I couldn't park in front of my room, they didn't turn the heat on untill I arrived and in the middle of winter the room was freezing, and very draughty due to the open slat bathroom windows (it was frigid in the morning). The shower had shaving stubble on the wall, so cleanliness could've been better, and there was no bathmat provided for the freezing cold floor. ”Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace.”

”Really nice open area for the kids to explore. The hosts were very accommodating and helped out with additional requests and even introduced our kids to the horses. Basic little huts, but very clean with all the right amenities. Perfect overnight spot to explore the Lost Kingdom conservation area”

”My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Hartley Hideaway.Having everything you require and more made it easy to feel at home from the moment you walked through the door. Everything was clean and there were a lot of little touches that made it evident that Heather really cares about the comfort of her guests.The surrounds are also very beautiful which adds to the overall enjoyment of the stay.I would recommend staying here and would certainly stay here again.”
