”I found the property sub par in comparison to several others we visited in Scotland. The bathroom was a bit moldy/dirty. The bedding smelled “sour” and the bed was lumpy and crooked. There was an overall mustiness in the room. The staff were not unfriendly but not overly kind or helpful. The food was edible but I wouldn’t go out of my way to spend money there again.”

”Liked everything! Really nice location, Conic Hill and loch boat tour etc easily available. Very friendly service and room lacked only more wall hooks for towels, other than that perfect.”

”Just what we needed for a weekend. Clean comfortable room. No sittng / lounge area as it is a pub! A bit noisy Saturday night, but we had been warned and ear plugs were provided. If you are happy with basic rather than luxurious this is a good place to stay.Friendly helpful staff, and we enjoyed the Sunday quiz!. A good breakfast too.”

”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”
