”Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time. ”Overall, it was a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay. The facilities were simple, including the traditional hotel key, which gave the hotel an olden feel. The room was comfortable and well presented. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide a mini fridge in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests. In addition, during hot weather, providing portable air conditioning units would make the stay much more comfortable, especially in both standard and family rooms.”
