”My stay was exactly what I needed. Quiet, clean and very comfortable. Super close to the Coast Guard Academy and downtown. Mathew the owner was very welcoming and very generous in helping me get to his location. I enjoyed it so much, I booked it one extra night.”

”The hotel canceled my reserved and paid for room on the day of arrival without prior notification. When I arrived at the hotel shortly before midnight, I was told they could not honor the reservation and that they were fully booked. I was getting stranded in the middle of the night.”

”We needed two beds close to the Cross-Sound Ferry and this ticked both of those boxes. However, not much beyond that. The rooms are dated and not particularly well-cleaned. An air freshener would at least try to hide the cigarette smell, but to no avail. We definitely had long hair in our beds that did not belong to any of us... It did the job, but I cannot recommend, unfortunately.”

”The toilet and shower don't drain properly. And also to many people live at the property.”

”Despite getting " help " from the gentleman at the desk, I was blasted with cold air all during the night. Changing the temperature did not work; it reverted to something in the sixties. I would not take the chance to stay there again.”

”The Rodeway Inn is an older facility. My room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The stairs to the second floor were carpeted. They haven’t been vacuumed in a very long time. ”

”Room itself was clean and fine for the money but it absolutely reeked of stale cigarettes.”

”We had a last minute change on a holiday weekend when our original hotel booking was unexpectedly closed for repairs. The Hampton inn was further away but they were very accommodating with the last minute booking. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean room, well kept facilities.”

”Our AC unit in our room was not working. Management did not offer us any resolution. We over paid for a room with a broken AC. We should be entitled to a partial refund.”

”It is fine for a quick visit. The breakfast isn't useful for us, we prefer healthier options. Unfortunately, the room had a very bad smell for all 3 nights I were there. (strong musty or someone cooked something that gave off a terrible odor for days). The room was clean, housekeepers great. The hotel was completely booked so changing wasn't an option.”

”The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was helpful. The beach is a very short walk and the front office had passes to purchase there for a better deal than down at the boardwalk. It’s a very short walk to shops and restaurants as well. Staff was very kind and understanding with us traveling with our son with special needs as well.”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the Block Island cottage. The water view with a variety of boats passing by was awesome. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with whatever one might need during a stay. We will be back again, soon I hope!”

”Never checked our room for a two night stay. I was ok with not making bed but clean towels would have been nice. This is the second time we have stayed here and had no cleaning or fresh towels”
