Cozy cabin
Our family of 5 enjoyed this beautiful cabin. The entire place including the hot tub was clean and comfortable. There were some things we could have used in the kitchen (e.g. something to mash potatoes- masher or hand/stand mixer or whisk). However, the cookware and bakeware that are in the kitchen are high quality. Good location amongst the apple orchards- 20 minutes from Hendersonville and within 45 minutes for a variety of hiking and mountain biking trails. We played lots of cornhole- thanks for leaving it on the front porch!

A cozy gathering place
This wonderful home-away-from-home has something for everyone. There’s a kitchen with everything you need, comfy reading spots by the indoor fireplace, picnic spots, play areas, front porch rockers…wonderful places to gather and make memories. We noticed so many well-crafted details in the cabin, and we were delighted to see that the house was decorated for Christmas. The place was spotless, and there were plenty of resources provided for fun things to do in the area. It was just the right size for our family. We take our time finding the best rental houses, and this was another winner. Thanks to the owners for creating such a welcoming space!

Great Stay and Great Location
We have a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. Everything in the cabin was outstanding from the decor to the beds. The construction of the actual cabin is superb, seeing that the winds were at least 20+mph at times, not a draft in the house. Very well built. We would definitely come back to this cabin, and we absolutely recommend this place to anyone as a place to stay.

Best little cabin in the woods
I loved everything about this place including Todd who was an amazing host. We were 3 ladies on a mother daughter trip to "Asheville" but I wanted a cabin in the woods so we ended up here. I will be back!!! We only popped into Asheville once and that was for lunch after visiting the Biltmore. We loved this area much more! Loved the wineries, the little downtown, the gorgeous nature. I am already thinking about when I can come back and who gets to come with me!

Wonderful place
The cabin is top notch. The location is private but not far from activities. The hot tub and the fire pit are very nice touches, especially since firewood is provided. Todd and Lori do a great job communicating and addressing any issues that may arise. I look forward to staying here again.

Surreal Peaceful Living
Everything about this wooded location log cabin is awesome! The location is convenient for historic, natural, and social activities. Our main agenda coming from Western PA was the Biltmore House (minutes away) and local wineries. Just driving around and exploring a bit you will discover there is so much more to this quant town. The cabin is fully and modernly equipped. Nothing is lacking. Everything was clean and in perfect order. The Host was extremely responsive, even when I accidentally responded to his welcoming text far too early the morning. Sorry about that. Highly recommend this Host and his Cabin!

Lovely property just as described. Quiet, located at the end of a gravel lane - very private. Enjoyed the hot tub every day. Close proximity to wineries, apple orchards and downtown area. We planned a weekend getaway near hiking and waterfalls and wanted a cozy cabin to stay. This place was Amazing. Very clean, log cabin look and feel. Could not see any other homes around us so it was totally private. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. We will absolutely stay here again.

Amazing getaway!
I cannot say enough good things about this cabin! It was rustic enough for that cabin woodsy feel, but also extremely clean with modern amenities. Very private but not too far off the beaten path. We enjoyed the central location to chimney rock, blue ridge parkway, Asheville and other fun tourist attractions. We hope to come back at some point with the kids. We miss it already! Thank you for an amazing getaway!

My family absolutely loved this property! Very close to Asheville, but still had privacy in the hills of Hendersonville. There were lots of cute shops and stores nearby. Master bedroom had vaulted ceilings!! Bathroom was beautiful… only downsides was that there was no tv downstairs, the mountain view was hidden in the summer, and there was no locks on the trash. It was knocked over when we came, but they were very quick to reply and fix it! Driveway was not steep. We had an all wheel drive vehicle but it isn’t needed. Would stay here again!!

Not Just a Cabin in the Woods
This cabin has the "feel" of being in the woods, when in actuality you have quick access to any activity you might do. The cabin's location was cozy, yet very private. The property is appointed with wonderful outdoor amenities a few steps away from the cabin, such as an oversized covered hot tub, a large fire pit (wood provided) and grill with picnic table. The interior of the modern cabin was exceptionally clean, tidy, and well appointed, which included all upgraded kitchen/ bath amenities and necessities. The woodsy cabin decor was welcoming as well as charming. Especially enjoyable was the real wood burning fireplace in the living room. The hosts have taken much care to create a lovely cabin stay both inside and outside.

Todd and Lori have done a great job on this cabin. Everything was as listed online. Kitchen had Everything we needed, bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Beds slept so good and loved the media area upstairs. The hot tub was a favorite. If anyone is wanting good location, this property is easily accessible to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. 👍❤️

Great cabin in the middle of apple country
We very much enjoyed our stay at 39 Moss Creek Lane. The cabin was comfortable, very clean, appeared to be fairly new and well built. The two bedrooms are on separate floors which made for good privacy. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, which seemed like the most appropriate thing to do at a log cabin. Lori and Todd were helpful when needed and easy to deal with.

Perfect for a Romantic Getaway
My husband and I stayed for a few nights to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to visit Asheville but stay somewhere more private than a hotel. This was the perfect location- completely private, but without a precarious drive up to the top of a mountain. The cabin is so cute, spotlessly clean, and the pictures do not do justice to how nice and comfortable the cabin is. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will absolutely stay here again the next time we come to the area.

We had a great time! The house was super functional and great attention to detail - we loved every piece of it. Fireplace and hottub where extras (though we could not use them much due to weather). Location is about 15 min from Hendersonville, so very remote. Would come back any time!

Beautiful mountain home!
We chose this home for a reunion with friends--it was perfect for two couples given the bedroom configuration. The cabin is in wonderful condition, and the furniture is comfy. Great front porch for rocking and chatting. It was an excellent base for exploring Asheville, Pisgah NF, and Biltmore, though you should realize that all of these are at least 30-40m drive away. That was OK with us--we loved the rural location, and did some closer hikes too. Todd was quick to help out with any issues and we were grateful for this opportunity.

The cabin was a perfect fit for our visit with our son to celebrate his birthday. Nice location and close to Asheville. However, I agree with other comments about the unreliable internet, master bath showerhead, and campground BBQ (we ended up purchasing a Weber kettle BBQ at Lowes to use during our stay).

Great cabin!
We had a great time! well appointed gorgeous cabin! spent the weekend with friends and family was very relaxing! Hot tub and fire pit was great, the only suggestions would be to have window coverings on window in lower living area to give privacy when dark outside and additional outdoor lighting! The wood was a bit green or wet as we had trouble starting the fire but other than that we had a wonderful time! The host was very responsive and easy to work with! Ty for a lovely stay!

39 Moss Creek Cabin
By far, this is the most satisfying experience I've had in a cabin rental in many years. We enjoyed the lofty wooden ceilings, the magnitude of the hearth, the hot tub. The walk-in open shower, and the modern stand alone tub. The parking was more than ample. The kitchen was user friendly with all necessary kitchenwares. We shopped at the Ingles at Lake Lure after checking out Main St and Coffee on the Rocks, and were able to cook back at the cabin as we would at our own home. Loved the proximal scenery as well as the accessibility of Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, and Asheville. The price was well worth the value of the stay. Have already recommended to friends and family.

Really nice cabin loaded with everything you’d need. However, the furniture outside of the bedrooms is dated and worn and not very comfortable. The Wi-Fi if often out and when it’s on, it’s very slow. Definitely no gaming, streaming, or downloading.
