”This was my first stay at a Canopy by Hilton property. The Canopy sub-brand is advertised as an upscale semi-boutique hotel. The Minneapolis hotel is fully inline with the advertising. Really a very pleasant 4 night stay. Building is a renovated manufacturing factory. The have retained most if not all of the original timber posts and beams-very interesting. ”Overall decent hotel that is located near the convention center, 15 min walk. There is no mini market to get snacks or water. They have vending machines on 2 different floors. The one on the 13th floor didn’t work. The AC in our room didn’t work that great and it was 90+ in the summer. The restaurant in the lobby is wildly overpriced. $16 for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. Aside from all of that we stayed for 3 nights and never received any housekeeping. I don’t know if we were supposed to request...

”In the first room given, the AC didn't work, but they immediately gave us a bigger new room with good AC. However the view from the window is a narrow wall. But because we stayed only to sleep, it did not really matter. We couldn't find the hair dryer, they gave one fast. Finally the original hair dryer was found in the drawer inside the bathroom. We like the room is big. The ammenities should be asked. Slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste were not provided in the room if we did not ask. Then...

”It was only myself so the no dresser was perfect. I liked the knobs to hang clothes. It was clean and I loved no carpet. The smell of the hotel was fabulous. I wish they would sell that!”

”Enjoyed my stay and extended it. Close to everything. Clean and spacious. Had check in issues initially but was able to call and get handled quickly. Parking is also a big plus. Will definitely book again however will choose higher upper floor.”
