”This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. Google Maps doesn't pin the location precisely, so look for the sign. We also recommend Köz Turkish Restaurant for a fabulous evening meal, Cafe N Joy for a simple...

”What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. ”Turned up to find our key out on a table, with our name and details where to find the room Everyone else who was staying also had their keys laid out with names/room details. No-one available to speak to, in-person, at check-in. We were in the family room, at the back/outside of the property. Whole room smelt of grease due to the chip shop adjoining the hotel. To be fair, the hotel itselt smelt greasy. Toilets were filthy with broken seats, one of the shower trays filthy and not clean. The...

”The hotel was attached to a pub. The doors to the rooms have glass panels as the rooms are little out houses. Last night there was a kids disco so the kids were running around the rooms waking everyone until 1:30 in the morning and as the kids ran around the security lights came on lighting the room us as there are no curtains or blinds on the doors. There was an argument at 3 oclock so once again the lights came on. Some idiot kid tried to get into the room. Horrendous, never ever fo there.”

The very few Staff that were there (if you could find them) were lovely, but I couldn’t overcome the feeling that the place had been deserted and left to rot. Breakfast near inedible but evening meal was ok. Nonetheless, not terrible value for money.”
