”Our host was easy-going when he greeted us at the door. The bed was very comfy, the room was quite large, and we loved being within walking distance of everything in Hermann. This place looks exactly like the guest bedroom your grandma's house. I wouldn't call the room secure (we never got an actual key for our room? maybe I'm too used to City Life!) Very quirky, this is not the place to stay if you need modern, updated accommodations. We had a great time exploring the town and would stay here...

”Better than the photos and description! The view and quiet are just what you need for a peaceful weekend. Watch the river slowly churn by and listen to the birds chirping in the surrounding forest. Located 15 minutes from Hermann and Washington, there's plenty to do. The owner was helpful and she made amazing breakfasts. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay. ”

”We enjoyed the ambiance in the building and loved the delivered breakfasts! The owner went above and beyond to help our children to be comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, especially compared to other rentals that we have stayed in. The neighbor has friendly cats that like to visit the church yard, but never caused any problems for us. We visited wineries and Meramec Caverns while in the area.”

”It was a small room and had to squeeze between the bed and wall to get in. Almost had to use the foot stool to get in the bed secondary to being so high up and the mattress was extremely firm. The pillows were super soft which did not go with the firm bed, woke up several times in the night to re fluff the pillows and still woke up with a sore neck. The thing that bothered me the most was the curtain in the bathroom was screwed to the wall and you could not close them for privacy. The building...
