”This place is cooler than cool. It's extremely well maintained. Historical through and through. The rooms are larger than a typical hotel, with extremely high ceilings. A common area with snacks and refreshments just for the very limited # of rooms/guests. The restaurant and bar downstairs is great. I think they should have towel racks in the bathroom or hooks on the door, but other than that, the room was great! The location was also nice being on the water and near to other businesses. My only real complaint was with the staff. When we first tried to check in an hour early, I was first made to wait. In my room there was no remote control for the TV. I left and came back to fire trucks out front because the alarm system kept getting tripped. Stains on the carpet”

The covers had cigarette burns and the whole place just smell like cigarettes even though I got a non-smoking room I booked a room with a single king bed and they changed it to a room with two full beds instead”

The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom, and there was a stain in the ceiling tiles, which looked like office tiles. There was no mini fridge which seems like it ought to be standard. Worst though was we had no hot water. When we called the desk at 10pm, the girl at the desk said she would have to reset the water heater and it could take a half hour or longer. We canceled...
