The girl at desk asked the Chef who was standing nearby and he abruptly said " They were made today!" His face was very serious and unfriendly. We moved on. The next day...

”Safe and clean, although dated. It was very difficult to get the shower to a safe, comfortable temp, but with some patience, it can be done. The hot tub/spa area is seasonal, which was not advertised. Quiet and comfortable, the room was spacious.”

”Few properties have an indoor pool and hot tub at this price, so that's a nice perk. Important if you're old and on a multi-day hiking trip. However, the pool is not well maintained. VERY humid in there, locker rooms closed/taped off, like they're actively working on it/doing construction, which was the same when I stayed there a full year ago. Also, I called before booking to ask if it was worth paying extra for the "suite" and was told it has a couch and extra space, so I did pay more for that...
