”Liked the location and history. Unlike scheduled smores campfire for Wednesday and no staff around to hold the scheduled event. Unlike unfriendly attitude of Chef although food was excellent. 1st day we were offered cookies at check in and I asked in a light hearted manner "Are they fresh and warm from this morning?" The girl at desk asked the Chef who was standing nearby and he abruptly said " They were made today!" His face was very serious and unfriendly. We moved on. The next day...

”Few properties have an indoor pool and hot tub at this price, so that's a nice perk. Important if you're old and on a multi-day hiking trip. However, the pool is not well maintained. VERY humid in there, locker rooms closed/taped off, like they're actively working on it/doing construction, which was the same when I stayed there a full year ago. Also, I called before booking to ask if it was worth paying extra for the "suite" and was told it has a couch and extra space, so I did pay more for that...
