”This was probably one of my favorite VRBOs! The accommodations were lovely. Everything was cozy and comfortable and the deck overlooking the pond was a fantastic place to read and have coffee. We felt conveniently located to all the area had to offer. The best part of the rental was the sweet family that hosted us. The Fox family are not at all intrusive but are kind and welcoming and happy to assist with anything you might need. Two thumbs up for this little jewel!”

”We feel bad about leaving this review….not my style. We stayed here on our wedding night. We were planning to go out after wedding but elected to stay in. Checkin was great! Easy and quick. Kitchen well equipped and place was clean. Couch/futon was so uncomfortable only to be outdone by the dreadful bed. Very uncomfortable. There were cheap plastic blinds that did not keep much light out. We felt it was daylight all night. Motorcycles kept racing up and down the streets and you heard the noise...

The kitchen came extremely well stocked with spices, baking sheets, and other cooking utensils. We had a last minute request for our host and they were more than understanding and quickly resolved what we needed. Couldn’t recommend this property enough!”

”We recently stayed at Rustic Riverfront Retreat on our drive to the midwest for Thanksgiving. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was much bigger than the pictures show, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there were two full bathrooms and two sets of washer/dryer. ”First time multiple night visit to Harrisburg. Third floor cozy apartment in a beautiful building facing the Susquehanna. All of the needed creature comforts, three head shower, comfortable bed and sofa, good Wi-Fi. Good food and drink within walking distance. We were also there during Artfest which was fabulous and right outside the door. If you are a baseball fane the Harrisburg Senators field is also within walking distance. Our host was gracious and kind. The space shows how much they care...

”This is a really cute property that is in a great location in Harrisburg. If you hate city driving like me this is a fantastic property to stay. You’ll only have to drive about 4 blocks into the city before you can pull off to park for the property. The street is relatively clean and quiet and neighbors are polite. Please check out the Harrisburg Central Market right down the road for an awesome food selection!”

”Property was great… location was great…. Communication directly with homeowner was great but communication with third party broker (evolve)was not… did not get check in codes until asked for them. Dryer was not functionable even tho listed in description. Overall stay was great!”

”The apartment is very clean and convenient to Hummelstown and Hershey locations. The host was friendly and helpful; he met us at check-in, even though he had already sent everything we needed to enter the apartment. We stayed on a busy holiday weekend, so area hotels were expensive. This apartment was comparably priced, but had more space and a washer/dryer! The parking lot is behind the house; circle around to the alley behind the house. Great stay!”
