Het bed was erg fijn. Er zijn 2 badkamers en 2 wc’s Er stond dat het geluiddicht was maar de laatste dag kregen we buren en dit was echt niet zo. De dagelijkse schoonmaak service kwam vooral (als ze kwamen) om handdoeken te verschonen en bed op te maken. Maar een keer dweilen tussendoor zat er niet in. Koffie apparaat moesten we om vragen. Ze hadden niet uitgelegd hoe we warm water kregen dus eerst onder de koude douche Zwembad was echt te koud in oktober en ook die in het hotel zelf was binnen en buiten niet verwarmd. Er was een dekbed maar zat ook niks omheen. Kon het over onze lakens heen leggen. Afwassen was lastig zonder stop maar had geen zin meer om daar om te vragen. Het is een prima huisje maar 5 sterren heb ik andere gedachten bij.

Fantastisk private pool og sea view. Rolig atmosfære oppe af bjergsiden. Rengøringen kunne være meget bedre. Der mangler komfortable møbler både i inde og ude området. Køkkenet var mangelfuldt og ovnen ikke virkede ikke. Hotellet virkede helt tomt og meget få medarbejdere og gæster.

the amenities listed is NOT what I got, especially after booking the villa. Receptionist lives on minimal energy & you’d find better customer service at a McDonalds. Would not spend my hard earned money here again.

I’m so glad I trusted my own instincts because this hotel exceeded all my expectations!The views are absolutely breathtaking, almost too beautiful to be real! ❤️ I stayed in a villa with a private pool, and it was pure paradise. The privacy, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning surroundings made every single day feel magical.What made my stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality. A particularly heartfelt thank you to Katarina ❤️Your kindness, warmth, patience, and genuine care made my holiday truly unforgettable. You went above and beyond, and I cannot thank you enough. Great hill top view! But was an average place to stay unless you are well prepared! The hotel is very quiet, not a-lot service personnel readily available. Most service needs requires 1-day advance notice such as shuttle service down to Malia centre. We stayed at the Villa which was epic with family, but the kitchen was not fully equipped, so you will need to go to the nearest market for scrubbing pads and dish soap. Ask housekeeping for missing pots, but dont have all cooking tools. We rented a car so we can get around. No laundry facilities on site. The showers is old and has mold on the edges.

Excellent hôtel, vue superbe sur la baie de Malia, à 5 min du centre ville et de la plage, a 25 min d’Heraklion, un excellent emplacement pour des vacances piscine, plage et histoire grec. Les villas avec piscine sont idéales pour des vacances en couple ou en famille. Le personnel de ´l’hôtel est efficace et très accueillant que ce soit à l’accueil avec Athina, au restaurant avec Artemis ou avec tout le reste de l’équipe ! Pour les sportifs, une salle de sport très bien équipée.

Traumhaft über Malia

Sehr netter und herzlicher Empfang durch Athena, die gute Seele vom Hotel. Super Bedienung am Frühstück und Abendessen. Kurze Taxifahrt ins Dorf Malia, oder man mietet ein Auto, um noch verschiedene schöne Strände zu erforschen. (Potamos Beach mit Kalyva Taverna sehr empfehlenswert) Einen sehr lieber 3 Beiniger Kater hat uns im Hotel begleitet… für Kinder einfach unvergesslich. Einzig am Abend läuft, für uns zu viel Folkloremusik. Aussicht, Sauberkeit, Pool waren fantastisch! Unbedingt buchen, wenn man nach Malia in die Ferien geht.

The room was clean, but that’s about it. The main issue is the disconnect between how this hotel is advertised and what it actually is. It’s a fine, middle of the road 3 star with a decent view (ish) and uncomfortable beds, and a number of other annoying but minor flaws. It is not a five star or anything close to that. There is just no objective reality to that claim. The experience made me question the reliability of hotels.com’s system for rating and ensuring accuracy. For a mid to low 3 star it was fine. If you compare it to any reputable 5 star or even 4 star it’s a very disappointing experience.

Stayed as a family of 4 for 9 days in mid August 2025, 2 adults and 2 children. Positives: Remote hill top location in Old Town Malia (10/10). Villas with private 10m to 15m length pools (10/10). Overall the teams were very helpful and did their best to support. Amazing views of Malia from your balcony from the hill top location (10/10). Notable mentions; Alexia at the front desk, New lady in the restaurant from Romania, Male supervisor / manager who helped us after we got locked out of the villa with 2 keys at night. Private pool chemical level being checked. Met the new owner at dinner whilst the teams were stressfully trying to work out our bill for a new menu and he said he his aware of what they need to improve on and service is not were he wants it to be. Negatives: Attention to detail I.e. 1 bed was missing its top cover for the first 3 nights. Very easy to lock yourself out of the villa because of the safety feature on the doors. Service in the restaurant needs to be improved / missed opportunity from the hotel due to isolated location. Catering options are very limited / Menu cards are confusing / Not clear what you have ordered and what you are paying for. Nightly disturbances from staffing quarters into the early morning (stayed in villa 407). No locks on the bathroom or toilet doors. Hot water in the tap & shower is extremely boiling hot. Toilet / Shower room on the lower floor in the 2 bedroom villas should have a solid divider as water gets everywhere.

DO NOT COME TO THE NOVERIAN SCENIC!!!!! Surly receptionist (it was the same lady every time). On arrival hardly spoke, dumped us outside the villa with no information about facilities (not that it would have mattered - more on that below). No staff to assist with luggage - not exactly 5* that. After getting in realised the furnishings were VERY dated, and some also very dirty. Not at all welcoming as no decor e.g. pictures, rugs etc. Following day realised 1) TV didn't work - no satellite/ariel 2) crockery was mix and match, only 1 cereal bowl 3) external doors didn't close properly. Internal doors warped so wouldn't shut. 4) sunbeds filthy, and one broken 5) sunbed cushions filthy including bird excrement 6) Sun umbrella not fit for purpose. 7) oven not working - had to find out for ourselves the fuse was down 8) several holes/bangs in walls that had been badly repaired 9) door handle to leave not secured and fell off continually 10) towels for pool use ripped Other than that fantastic ;) Approaching the weekend we were informed there were 2 weddings that would continue until 4am, very noisy as a result and difficult to sleep. This also resulted in a closure of the bar and restaurant. Spa - nonexistent. Although you could ring for a massage After 4 nights we attempted to cancel the rest of our stay, the hotel however were immovable on a refund. Such a shame with better management I'm sure it could be returned to former glories. Views from here were stunning

Horrible Service, Dirty Room: Save Your Money!

We arrived late for check-in, but still before the required time. Upon arrival, we noticed that our room had not been cleaned at all. We found hair in the bed and shower, nails on the floor, dirt in the bathrooms, and dirty socks in the bedroom. We told the reception about this, and were told that nothing could be done that night and that we had to wait for the next day. In other words: they told us to sleep in a dirty bedroom with used bedsheets. Absolutely unacceptable service, nothing you would expect from a "5 star" hotel. We had a "one bedroom villa with private pool and sea view". What that meant in practice was that the sea was barely visible from our balcony, nothing like what you see in the advertised pictures. Also, be prepared for a lot of dead insects and dirt in your pool: they do not clean your pool. It was basically unusable the last days of our stay. We asked for room service three days in a row, but were always told "they will come soon". They never came, and thus our room got filled with trash. The "spa" consisted of a half full pool that we could not use, a cold hamam, and a small sauna. Massage was "not available". On one of the last days of our stay, we received a note in the hotel telling us that loud music would play till 3 AM. We could not sleep, and were not told about this in advance. Please save your money, this was worth nothing near the price you pay! These guys are not serious about their business, and you can get much more value elsewhere.

Le personnel est souriant agréable et à l écoute. La villa privé avec piscine est agréable dommage que les voisins des villas de l étage peuvent voir la piscine des autres voisins.

Jeg må først og fremst starte med å takke George som gjorde oppholdet vårt fantastisk. Dersom vi kommer tilbake skyldes veldig mye av dette George. George er noe helt for seg selv. Jeg gir selvsagt skryt til hele personalet som er svært vennlig, serviceinnstilt og hyggelig, men som sagt George er fantastisk fyr! Hotellet hadde fantastisk beliggenhet med tanke på utsikt, veldig praktisk med gratis parkering om man skal leie en bil(anbefales), maten var god-men kunne vært bedre, rommene ble vasket veldig bra og var ellers veldig rene. Det som jeg opplevde og som trekker en god del ned er at vi ofte ble vekket veldig tidlig på morgenen fordi de skulle klippe plenen eller gresset. Jeg forstår det er jobben deres, men jeg tenker de kunne ventet til kl 10 eller senere og ikke før 8. Man er tross alt på ferie for å sove litt ekstra :)

Great hotel. Great service. We really enjoyed

Wonderful place with great customer service. From checking in and until checking out the entire staff were very friendly, helpful and very professional. We will go back again.

stunning location,beautiful and well maintained accomodation. we treated ourselves to a presidential villa. it was bigger than my house with a great pool and garden and view to die for. coming back next year
