”This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed. The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing! There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too.”

”Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. Again Excellent.Staff were friendly especially the breakfast lady.Full of smiles in the morning. Would definitely stay again ”

”Easy parking, excellent Reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Christmas decorations in the bar/dining areas were beautiful and tastefully done. Breakfast was lovely, as were the staff, very professional and well presented. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
