”Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the...

”We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location was perfect - close to the activities in York, but on a quiet street. It's a small place, but worked fine for our family of four. As others mentioned, the stairs are a bit steep and there's a wonky step to get from the master bedroom to the bathroom - but that's just part of being in an old home. ”

”Absolutely the best organized of the places we stayed so far. This is the 13th of 16 stays. The pictures do not due the location justice. If you have a question on how something works, just look up or around and there is a description on how to use it. A great inventory of things you may need (ex coffee) is supplied. We really enjoyed this place not to mention really close to getting inside the Great Wall around the city. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back from the states. ”
