”First, I’ll say the view was spectacular.
No place for clothes or toiletries. Sheets did not fit the bed (bottom sheet stretched out, so bed was “unmade in the middle of the night), intermittent internet. The owner kindly reset the modem, but it was not resolved. Since they tried once I assumed it wouldn’t work a second time. I think they need a booster for cabin 6.
Pricing through Expedia was not transparent, not sure it’s the owners fault. ”

”Opening the door i was hit by a wave of musty air which remained all weekend even with windows open. The beds were sagging the pillows lumpy. The toilet seat broke. The single roll of rough toilet paper ran out with no spare. Dont even try the in room drip coffe its horrible. The walks are thin enough i could hear the next rooms conversation. The room door so poorly fitted you could see light all around it. The deadbolt did not close all the way as it was not properly aligned.

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. ”What a unique stay! Everything is as listed. We did have spotty wifi, and some areas/items could use extra cleaning, but overall we were very happy and would visit again.
We’ve stayed in their next-door treehouse (Perch) back when they first opened it up as a rental, so we were very excited to be back! ”
