”We came here for my birthday staycation, not too far from home. The spa was amazing and overall, the staff was good with the exception of the dinner staff who weren’t as friendly. The dinners were really good though, so it made up for it. The breakfast was delicious as well. Our only complaint is we are pickleball players and we were really looking forward to playing that weekend, while we had time. ”Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable and unique. It was very quiet and relaxing stay. Over all a very beautiful place to stay, we would highly recommend. Wasn't a problem for us but it might be for some. Room doors are old European style doors and do not seal very good. Large opening around the bottoms, which could let in small critters. The doors let out a lot of AC in summer and I would imagine heat during the winter. ”

We stayed one night in the Fitzgerald room, and the entire house was quiet. I had a great night’s sleep on the firm and comfortable sofa bed.
