Location to the pool and beach is great. Very clean and great view. Check-in process was easy. Kitchen was stocked with great cooking supplies. Does not have any beach chairs, games, or entertainment for the family. Bring your own!

I noticed in previous reviews that the unit received an upgrade/renovations in 2023/2024ish. Pictures were an accurate depiction of the unit. Love the open space - kitchen, living room and dining were all one big space - and it was a big space, not cramped or cluttered. Master bed and bath were great size and had a wonderful view of the sound.The queen guest room was great for our son - had his own bathroom and his space was on the other side of the unit for privacy for him and for us.We didn’t stay long so didn’t use the kitchen except for breakfast and lunch and we had plenty of dishes to accommodate our needs.Emailed the host a few times prior to our stay and they were prompt and helpful.Will definitely consider this unit for any future visits to HHI!!

Great condo on the beach!

We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head staying at South Beach Club! The condo is right on the pool and a short walk to the beach. This part of the beach is great for families with small kiddos as the water is very calm. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Right in the middle of South Beach, food, pickleball and the Sea Pines trolley all within walking distance. The only downside was the second bedroom - landscape lighting was so bright outside it was difficult to sleep. Also no way to darken the room with curtains. Other than that it was great, the ocean view from the balcony was beautiful and beach access was easy.

Hilton Head Sea Pines May 2025

The place was spacious, beautiful, and super clean. We were mailed all of the needed information so the check-in should have been easy, be we had some difficulties since we didn't have the correct pass code to get into the unit. Once this was corrected we were good to go. I requested a 12noon check-out on the day we left and was very surprised as we were packing up to go with about 25 minutes left that a young person just entered the unit and asked me if I was checking out or if I was the cleaning service. I was so shocked by this rude intruder. I collected myself and called the main office to complain about the disturbing service. Beyond these two issues, the place was quite nice.

Very Nice Stay on the Beach

Really enjoyed our stay...good pool and beach access and plenty of other activities within reasonable distance. Only frustration was property management being unresponsive to emails...wrong data/info sheet had been sent with welcome packet. Had to sort out on arrival. Housekeeping feedback - they had tried to put a queen fitted sheet on a king bed. Obviously didn't fit. Had to have new one brought over after we got there. A clear issue they should have recognized. They need to clean under the beds occasionally. Very dusty. Otherwise well maintaned and furnished. We would stay there again.

Great location and set up. Could use some cleaning!

We traveled with 3 kids (5 and under). We loved the location and layout of the property. You could easily walk to a few little restaurants, shops and ice cream. The pool was very easily accessible and not very busy so perfect for kids. The beach was a close walk and was in the bay so the waves were small and easy for the kids to play at the beach/ocean. When we arrived, the place smelled like it had been mopped with a dirty mop. There were still Cheetos under night stands and crumbs under the couches. You could feel sand/grit on the floors and my husbands socks were black on the bottom from walking around. The pillows were about 1/4 of an inch thick and the towels were very cheap and barely dried us off. We all had a rough time sleeping with the old flat pillows. I removed the pillow case off one and the pillow was stained. Yuck! I loved the location and the layout of the place, but I wouldn’t stay there again unless it was cleaned better and there were upgraded towels and bedding.

Life Long Friends Exploring Hilton Head

The property was just as described on the website. Lovely views of a great pool area and then the cove right from your patio. Deer visited right outside the gates of the pool each evening. The ocean and wide beach off to your left. Great location on Sea Pines Plantation on the Southern End of HHI. Very close to the Salty Dog Pub and Restaurant and several other wonderful restaurants. I would make a few suggestions to help make ones stay a 5 star! Need a few new pans for cooking breakfast. Pans were not in great shape. The condo was quite clean, bright and nicely furnished, but towels were sub par and we found quite a few dust bunnies around. The cleaning staff needs to be more attentive and give the floors a good cleaning. Minor recommendations to improve the comfort of discerning travelers. Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the details provided by the owner and rental company. Lovely condo in a well cared for condo facility. Great spot; Walking trails, cute shops, plenty of wildlife, beautiful foliage and a lovely wide beach off to the left of the condo. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!!

Think Twice: Well-situated condo but everything else is on you

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, great floor plan, updated kitchen and master bath. Everything else is tired, filthy and largely unusable. We arrived to dishes in the cabinets with food still on them. There was jelly (we hope!) on the small electrics. The floors were sand and dirt covered. Whatever they clean with is highly fragrant, likely to give the indication that it has been cleaned rather than cleaning. The dishwasher was moody and the HVAC had a high-pitched whine. As it ran constantly during the 90 degree days, the whine was constant. The sheets, pillow cases and towels were the worst quality we had ever experienced. We spoke with the rental company about it and were told that the summer was almost over and the unit would be “deep cleaned” is September. Why would you tell a current renter that? Good news: We know the place is sub-standard, but we’re going to deal with it after we have taken your money!!We spent hours the first night washing other people’s dishes, cleaning bathrooms and running laundry. When the toilet paper fixture in the kids’ toilet fell into the floor I thought my wife would cry. We called immediately (for fear of being charged for breaking something) and were told, “We never charge when that happens.” Great! But if it happens a lot, why don’t you fix it? That’s probably on the list for September!To recap: Great location. Great physical layout. Lower your expectations. Bring your own everything. Best not to go October through August.

Nice space, really enjoyed the visit...

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice unit. It's very spacious and airy with nice furniture, kitchen items, and TVs, and it's positioned right on the sound. It has direct access to the pool through its own set of stairs which was nice. Although, it would be nice if you could lock the bottom gate (from the outside) or if a key could be provided for the sliding glass door for coming in from the beach. The kitchen was nice and it had doors on both the entrance and exit that can be shut so you can leave the outside door open while cooking without making the rest of the condo hot.The only things I would ping this location for are the amount of dead things on the beach. There were tons of dead horseshoe crabs and a dead dog on the beach that freaked out my youngest son. The condo was decorated nicely, but it had the hardest mattresses I've ever seen. My shoulders and back hurt the entire week. It's also a pretty long walk to get to the beach on the Atlantic side or you will have to take the beach shuttle at lot 8.

We loved being on the first floor and having a private entrance to the pool - great to have when traveling with a 2 and 4 year old. Nice having the Salty Dog Cafe across the road. The condo was everything we hoped for! Thanks for a great week!
