This beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa in Palmetto Dunes sits right on the 11-mile lagoon and features a first-floor bedroom and bath for easy access. Just a short 5-minute (400-yard) stroll takes you to the beach and the Dunes House, a favorite spot with a beachside restaurant and bar. The General Store is right around the corner, known for its hearty breakfasts and legendary fried chicken at lunch. During the season, enjoy the complimentary Dunes Buggy shuttle to Shelter Cove’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

Inside, the villa has been freshly updated with an open floorplan, new flooring, lighting, ceiling fans, vanities, upgraded trim, renovated baths, and modern kitchen features. Gather around the new dining table for 8 or unwind in the comfortable living room with brand-new furnishings.

The two-level deck sits directly on the lagoon, offering peaceful views of birds and wildlife. Each bedroom has its own bath and a private balcony overlooking the water. Check in was very smooth. We were sent helpful restaurant and shopping recommendations for the area. Bathrooms were updated and beds comfortable. Could use a deep clean - cleaning blinds in kitchen and ceiling fans, but otherwise I felt it was clean. Would have been helpful to have a swifter with the wet cloths for us to use to clean the floor while staying there. This may sound picky, but the wood trim around the floor could be updated at some point to help improve the appearance. Some areas looked older.

Wonderful accommodations for my family. We fit 8 of us very comfortably. Walking distance from the beach and right next to the pool. The host sent the instructions for getting in and lots of information regarding the area. The only problems were that we didn’t get the free parking pass like advertised and the air conditioner could not keep up with the heat outside. It stayed 80 degrees in the house throughout our whole stay.

Great Family Beach Get Away!

Our stay in Palmetto Dunes was amazing! This property was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near "everything" Palmetto Dune's and Hilton Head has to offer! Our family had so much fun riding bikes, going to the pool which is right outside the door, and running on the beach in the Palmetto Dunes Turtle Trot. We also enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this villa offered!! Tom was a great host and was very responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything!! We will definitely book this property again!!

Overall we had an excellent stay in this comfortable villa just a short walk from the ocean. Our kids and teen grandchildren each spent a week with us and had wonderful time biking, beaching, and enjoying the resort complex. We would definitely come back to this ideal location.

Family Vacation - The Best!!!!

Clean, GREAT LOCATION, well appointed vacation rental. We were traveling as a family, twin 15 year olds... Space is a premium when traveling with teens. We had it in spades here. Very close to grocery stores, great location within the Palmetto Dunes community, no lie 400 yds to the beach. The bikes they provided hit the spot. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

Great place!

We loved this property! It fit our family’s needs perfectly. Very closer/easy walk to the beach, General Store and golf. Perfect place

This condo checked all of our criteria for a great vacation house. From its close proximity to the beach club, pickleball center and pool, this location was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the lagoon dock and had frequent visits from snaggle toothed friends. We are already working on a return visit.

One Week at HHI

Four of us went to HHI for a friend's wedding and stayed at this condo in Ocean Cove. What a beautiful place in a great location, Palmetto Dunes, on the island. Really enjoyed the outside patio and deck; had most meals and evening drinks there. Inside the condo was roomy and nicely furnished. Would definitely stay there again!
