”I stayed for two nights in the lovely Darwin room. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. ”Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

”We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

The Yak & Yeti was perfect for us: great location - only a short walk over the bridge into town. We had the most amazing breakfast in the morning - exactly what we needed after a late night out!”

”The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 ”
