”We booked our stay through Expedia after reading the reviews and checking the area. Name recognition was another reason. The staff was knowledgeable about the area and knew how to treat their guests. Breakfast was a big plus. Most places we go advertise free breakfast which generally is a disappointment. Not so at the Compass. Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon potatoes, and spinach frittatas. I almost forgot the breads, muffins, oatmeal, assorted fruit, coffee and tea. Fit for a...

”Stayed at Cedar Cove in late October. Owners were very hospitable and the beach was clean and quiet. Was only going to spend one night but decided to spend an extra night on our way back from Bean Point. Loved the small laid back feel of the property. ”

”The hotel was under construction and was not maintained. Garbage and metal roofing qas being rossed from rooftop to walkway right at our room door. It was incredibly loud and incredibly dangerous. Was not even thrown close to caution taped iff area. Was just thrown pretty forcefully to walkway. That being said, the staff was incredibly professional. and accommodating ”

”Hopefully this is not publically posted, but there was blood on my pillow discovered next morning, bugs in the bathroom light. No hot water (at least at the sink?), the door is not sealed so all outside noises are heard as if the door isn’t even shut and finally, I couldn’t even lock the deadbolt from the outside. There may be a few more things but call me if you really care. Thanks. ”
