The road does go into a metal farm road, drive carefully and be rewarded by the sounds of nature and the running of a beautiful stream nearby.”

”We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. ”Bruce is a great host, warm, friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, furniture and linen are good quality. There is a sea view, and it is well located close to the Hokianga entrance, with good walks nearby. Also very close to the excellent local fish and chip/ takeaway.”
