”Just a one night stay the room did not have a lamp”

”I was ready to leave. The air conditioner didnt work. Our room stayed around 75 the whole night. I wet rags and put all over me. To top it off... the suite i booked for my family wasnt held. So my kids were down the hall from me. So on top of a hot miserable night i couldn't sleep due to worrying about my minor kids. I will never visit another one of these properties. ”

”Location is clean, accommodating and very friendly staff. The staff in the breakfast area were very attentive and genuinely nice. Very good breakfast. Check in and check out was fast and staff was friendly.”

”Old, run down, house keepers need to do a better job. Continental Breakfast was a joke”

”Elevators on the main floor were not working. Apparently from what we were told they have been out of service for over a month. Room was comfortable and clean. Rust on wall in shower. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in.”

”Breakfast was great, air conditioning was great, Rooms were updated, bed was comfortable! I would have given 5 stars but the lady that checked me in was not very friendly.. not rude.. but didn’t seem to like her job. Overall great hotel! ”

”The friendliness and cleanliness”

”There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed.”

”Needs some updating, but it was good for the one night we stayed. The breakfast was great, and the staff are wonderful. Our breakfast was delicious, and we had a great time. ”

”Is really not a bad room you get what you pay for so I can't be mad”

”If I could give a negative I would. The fire alarm went off 3 nights straight for an hour at 1 am and the staff did nothing . The front desk guy was no where to be found for hours and half the staff are friends just joking around . We came here for a wrestling national tournament and when we went to cancel our remaining 3rd night the manager said she need to call the VP of the property to confirm if she could even cancel our room which is absurd and ridiculous. This place needs to be shut down...

”Floors, drapes , toilets are not cleaned”

”Booked for 2 nights. Only stayed 1. No refund for the 2nd night, even though Expedia told them to. Foreigners, am I right? Should've got refunded for the entire stay honestly. Entire place is trash. From the baseboards to the curtain slides to the flickering lights. Whole place smells like smoke. I highly recommend.... literally anywhere else.”

”this is a safe feeling area for the down town location. we loved the furnished kitchen and full refrigerator -and the breakfast was excellent! lots of parking -even for our trailers. ”

”We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. ”The Seafood restaurant was closed and so was the Asian testy, the only food option was the sports bar or the to go food station”
