”The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! ”

”Good value for money. The single room was, as expected, small but clean and perfectly adequate with ensuite, TV and good tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent, with a varied choice. I was kindly allowed to check in to my room a long while before stated time. Parking is limited to six spaces in front of hotel. Owner very friendly and welcoming.”

”It was our first time staying in Pippin Cottage and what a delight. When we arrived we contacted the host and they met us promptly. It is a very cosy and quiet location. Not far from st Osyth village. Thankyou to the hosts for a lovely stay. ”

”Situated near the station and at the top of the main drag, this hotel is in dire need of some tlc. They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower.
