”This was my family's second time staying at this home and once again our stay was amazing. Martina and Claire are fabulous to work with and very responsive to messages and texts. The home itself has everything- it is spacious, multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen to enjoy! The location is spectacular!! My family loved the ability to walk down to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, ice cream and all the pubs! I have already raved about this home to my friends and cannot wait for our next...

”Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

”Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

”A lovely cottage, ideally located to discover the beauties of the Connemara. Very calm, only surrounded by sheeps, rabbits and a small creek. Christian, the owner, and Linda, a neighbor, are helpful and reactive for any question. The furniture is nice, of local style. The washing machine and the dryer are very useful in case of a wet walking...”

”Absolutely beautiful views of lakes and mountains!! Even got to see a sunset one evening!!! Beds are very comfortable and house is very quirky (in a good way) with old timey furniture and appliances (all work fine). Well stocked kitchen. Short drive into Oughterard (very cute little town) has supermarket and pubs (Clancy’s serves wonderful roasters and has live music). Convenient to take day trips to Connemara peninsula. All in all a grest place to stay. ”

”A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!”

”Wunderbar gelegen. Absolut ruhig mit Blick auf den Lough Carra. Das leihbare Angelboot eignet sich perfekt zum Angeln auf dem See. Dringend empfehle ich die Möglichkeit eines Guidings zur Einweisung durch den Angelguide Jim anzufragen. Er ist super nett und hat viele hilfreiche Tipps. Von der Begrüßung mit Blumen und Kuchen über den gemütlichen Kamin, in dem ein Torffeuer zum einheizen gemacht werden kann, ist die Lodge einfach nur sehr zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter ist ebenfalls super hilfsbereit...

"Due to changed flight plans I had to stay an extra night in Dublin and booked a room online from this cute B&B for an overnight stay only. They contacted me proactively the same day to help me with my check-in and (very) late arrival details plus inquire about any breakfast needs (I had none). They were very helpful, very flexible on the phone with my strange arrangement and I was happy to spend a restful night in this establishment. My room was compact and equipped with everything needed. The bed was extremely soft (might not be suitable for someone with a bad back). "
