”We had a lovely 3 days staying in Topcroft cottage. All bedrooms are great sizes and having the 2 en-suites was very helpful as we were travelling as 2 families of 4. There is plenty of space for 8 people, the wood burner kept us cosy as the weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped! Phillipa was so kind and dropped in a freshly baked cake and bread when we arrived, these went down a storm with all. The cottage is in Hathersage and attached to the village pharmacy. Parking is adequate for 2 cars...

”Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you.”

”This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views.”

”We loved the location and felt very much at home in a comfortable home. Particularly liked the armchair in the window overlooking the reservoir. We were walking 7 “Ethels” in the Dark Peak and all were easily accessible from Martha’s Cottage so ideal for our purposes. Pie Night at the Pickled Pheasant was also a nice discovery!”

”We had a cosy week in the cottage. Everything was as described. The cottage is perfect for a little family and has everything you need. It is situated in a nice little village with a coop supermarket, playgrounds and pubs nearby, where you can get by foot (for sportive people, the hill is very steep). There is lots to discover and activities within only a short cardrive - so much we couldn‘t do everything we wanted as the vacation was simply too short! Our questions were answered quite fast and...

”A well equipped and beautifully located cottage. Good position for visiting Buxton, Chester Zoo and all the Peak District walks. Good Local amenities. Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!”

”Great base to explore the Peak District, Nice clean and well maintained property on a farm with a friendly peacock that comes to the back door each morning for breakfast. The farm owners gave us a warm welcome and some chocolate biscuits on arrival. We will definitely be booking again.”

”Really great 4 night stay here for a work trip. Flat was lovely and clean other than whoever washed up last didn't do a great job as some of the plates were a bit dirty. Flat is in a perfect location with a supermarket a 10 second walk away and surrounded by restaurants. Also a 2 minute walk to some lovely gardens. Would definitely recommend.”
