”Had a extraction worker performing his duties Right outside my room creating constant noise and bright lights during the hours 23:00 - 01:00 ruining my nights sleep shocking to say the least. The owner Lynn has so far refused to authorise my refund for the 1 night.”

”Excellent service with the food absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend. On a small note my wife who is partially sighted could not clearly see some of the steps when going down the stairs due to the pattern of the carpet. This however was the only issue with the rest of hotel/ pub be excellently set out and presented. Breakfast was also exquisite. Overall a 5 star stay just make the stairs down more visible for anyone who is visually impaired.”

”The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!”

”Amazing inn with super attentive staff. Highly recommend!”

”Beautiful hotel and grounds We had a lovely relaxing two night stay in the comfort cottage. Spa was lovely and clean. The food was amazing, great breakfast and dinner and not badly priced at all. My only negative was I ordered a bottle of wine and chocolates to be in the room on arrival and this was missed. However they did offer the bring in the second day but we didn't bother as we had already had wine in the bar on our arrival.”

”It was very cold and windy the two nights I was there, and the first night the heater wasn’t working. But they provided a space heater and also fixed the radiator heater in my room. They were very accommodating, and all the staff was helpful.”

”Great location, lovely room, good food and friendly helpful staff.”

”It was fine for an overnight stay. However we both found the beds very uncomfortable. Nice enough bar and friendly locals.”

”This is a lovely property that’s good value for money with friendly staff. A good base to explore the local beaches and countryside. Good food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, all served nice and hot. Overall a great stay, would go back again. Thank you!”

”All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything I needed, and it was lovely to have breakfast included. I would happily stay again.”

”Was not provided with the check-in information”

”Property has wow factor with good food and friendly staff.”

”Such a lovely quiet area , the garden area on good day is great to sit out in , breakfast is really good too”

”Faultless. Perfect holiday. Thank you.”
