”2 night stay , parking was perfect , the room was a very generous double … huge bed , and in like a motel type set up . So despite being on a road was not noisy . Perfect to explored Holy Island Donna one of staff was a 5star herself , nothing was too much trouble , and we were welcomed and well looked after -thanks ”

”Lovely staff, a radiator sprung a leak in the bathroom which was temporarily sorted, and imediately repaired the following day. Quality full English breakfasts and exceptional evening meals. I highly recommend The White Swan in Lowick.”

”Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional. Most of the staff were really friendly. Oh yeah there was a bit of a smell in the 4th floor corridor, but this was only in the corridor not in...

”Location great, nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Parking was easy. Hotel looking a little old in parts but clean room and well serviced. Good if you keep in mind it is an older hotel. ”

”Friendly staff, nice breakfast, unfortunately no hot water for the whole weekend. Staff kept saying it was repaired but that wasn't the case. The weekend, was cold and wet so no hot shower was pretty grim.”

”Our stay at the links was more than expected, lovely clean, warm room, excellent bathroom facilities, very friendly reception staff, excellent location for local ammienties and exploring the local area, a great little cafe next door where you can get a tasty breakfast served by friendly staff.i would fully recommend a stay at the links,we will certainly be returning ”

”Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. Would stay again.”

”This boutique hotel is perfect in every way. A fantastic location close to the beach and other local areas like Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster, Alnwick and Beadnell village. The staff are so friendly, smiley and helpful and work so hard. The Full Northumbrian breakfast is outstanding . We will be returning. Thank you !”

”Parking good. Staff excellent team both at hotel and wedding venue at Doxford Barnes. Hot tub not open. Too cold Excellent place to stay. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal we had excellent. Service good. Only down side. Checkout 10am. Most hotels check out 11. Felt rushed this morning ”
