”Clean room with a tea and coffee tray, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. The beds were comfortable, although we found the mattresses a bit on the hard side, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both hot and continental options. The only real issue was the soundproofing. We could hear every single step outside and every word from the room next to us.”

”Rooms are motel style and are dated (don’t be fooled by the online photos) but room was clean, breakfast was good and staff were all fantastic and very accommodating with late check out, late breakfast (made to order so we could eat after Hillsborough Parkrun) and parking for the Wednesday match. ”Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. ”
