”Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. I highly recommend Torr Top Place!”

”Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.”

”We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...

”Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay ”

Warm , clean and very well equipped.Very close to the town for wandering to the shops, pubs etc. & opposite a lovely park and some great dog walks (we headed for the Monsal Trail)Super comfy beds and lovely en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.. always a big plus when there are lots in the group. ”Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. ”

”Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.”
