The room is small, but has enough room to hang a few clothes, place a small bag and has a small desk and chair to work from. It was modern and clean with a comfy bed and TV. ”Original old rooms but full of character. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Lovely river view with outside tables and chairs. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Ample parking”

”The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

”Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.”

”Having stayed a few times over the years we knew what to expect . As usual all the staff were helpful and cheerful. However we stayed in room 6 overnight on a very hot day and night so the room was very uncomfortably hot and made sleeping a problem. We did notice there was an air conditioning unit in the ceiling which was not operating and there was no way to control it. Very disappointing, it would have made a big difference on such a hot night. Nevertheless we look forward to our next stay,...

”We traveled all the way from the United States for a very special occasion — our daughter's engagement at Chatsworth House — and The Pilsley Inn made the trip even more memorable. What a find!
