Maalaistalot – Horseshoe Bend

”I was exhausted as I had been traveling all day. I was only interested in getting some rest and a shower and amenities were not all that important. It was in the 90’s outside and I needed some respite from the heat. I found out, to my dismay, that there was no AC in the rooms. It was stifling hot and although they did provide a big box fan and instructions to open the window when “it cools down in the evening” it wasn’t until after midnight that it cooled down and I was able to get about 3 hours...

”Terrible bedding. The one blanket on the bed was light as a feather. Not good.”

”Property was cleaned. Room was spacious. Welcome cookies. There were ample of parking when there is no concerts. It’s a headache when there is. Rooms are quiet. It came with breakfast for my stay. It was so-so. You have to wait to be seated. It can be fast but also can be a wait. You can take out if you can’t wait. Food was ok. Typical buffet food. Some food is either too oily or dry. There was chicken waffle. It taste ok and it was neat.”

”I had a great stay, sure the hotel is a little dated and could be a little cleaner,but for someone travelling alone and without a car,I liked the area.It was safe and walkable. Breakfast was good and the room had a comfy bed and plenty of space.”
