”We had a great stay here as a group of 10 friends over Easter weekend. Lovely area to cook, eat and play games, with lots of nice walks close by. The house is charming and quirky in the best way.”

”Location is great. 10 min walk to train. Says AC but it was still very hot and couldn't adjust the temp lower. Window sealed shut. Got wheelchair accessibke room not sure why. Staff at hotel not the best either. Would not go back.”

”Breakfast was wholesome and the bed comfortable, but there was nowhere (in Ancestry) to eat breakfast apart from on the bed. Shower works well.”

”traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples.”

”One of the best stays I’ve had. Very good value for money, absolutely lovely house and host, I would strongly recommend! It’s isolated and located right on a rich network of footpaths which is perfect for a countryside retreat. In December, the garden and surroundings were still full of birds and interesting mushrooms. Lovely attention to details, little messages throughout the house, a truly special place full of history! The owners are lovely and I was lucky enough to have a chat over tea with...

”Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here.”

”The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. ”

”Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!”

”The property is located in Hove, about a 16-minute walk from Brighton city centre, so I found the location to be very convenient. My room’s door didn’t close properly, and it could be opened without using the key. However, after I reported it to the staff, they arranged for it to be repaired straight away, so I was very impressed with how quickly they responded. One thing to note is that there wasn’t a hairdryer, which might be a little inconvenient for some guests, especially women.”
